Design brief
The client requested a full design proposal for this South East facing rear garden of this 1870 red brick house in the attractive village of Micheldever. An extension, in-keeping with the style of the house, has been added on to the back of the house. A garden with formal lines, relaxed country style planting, a broad expanse of lawn, good winter structure and space for entertaining up to 50-60 people was specified. As the client is a talented plantsman and gardener it wasn't necessary to make it a low-maintenance garden.
